Our Story

Kayan and Talya Dalloul, student and alumni from the American School of Dubai, share a deep passion for sports and giving back to their community.

Kayan, a co-founder of Padel for Life, graduated in June 2024 and is now studying at Georgetown University. A passionate football (soccer) player and an aspiring entrepreneur, he is always working on new business ideas. While at ASD, he collaborated with Talya to develop Padel for Life.

Talya, set to graduate in June 2026, enjoys playing tennis and is always ready to lend a helping
hand when she's not spending time with friends and family. In Padel for Life, she plays a key role in recruiting players, fundraising, and organizing the tournament, ensuring its continued success.

Inspired by their grandfather’s lifelong dedication to giving back, Kayan and Talya founded Padel for Life to celebrate his legacy and honor his memory—turning their love for sports into a powerful force for good.

The Inspiration for Padel for Life

In the fall of 2022, we lost our beloved grandfather, Jido Ahmed, after a long and grueling battle with cancer. As the patriarch of a large, loving family—7 siblings and 15 grandchildren—he was the heart and soul of our family.

Above all, Jido Ahmed was known for his selfless service to others. As a compassionate and dedicated OBGYN, he delivered over 20,000 babies throughout his medical career, touching countless lives with his kindness and care. His empathy, generosity, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Padel for Life was created in his memory, honoring his legacy of giving and making a difference in the lives of others.
